A current list of channels for a non-Sky Freesat system.

● A FTA (free to air) receiver is a basic standard satellite receiver which can be used to receive unencrypted channels. This is done without any of the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) restrictions of a Sky receiver. Channels can be added, deleted and ordered as the user wishes. BBC and ITV regions can be freely selected by the user, and placed anywhere on the EPG .
● Although interactive streams are available as separate channels on a FTA receiver, it cannot use the Sky ‘Red Button’ software. The same goes for the 7 day EPG listing. Only a ‘Now’ and ‘Next’ is available.
● Sometimes, channels not visible on a Sky receiver are available on a FTA receiver. New channels can often be placed on the EPG long before they are ‘launched’ on a Sky receiver.
